Boulder Beer Job Posting:  Marketing Assistant

Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Craft Brewery, is hiring a full-time Marketing Assistant to assist the Marketing Director and join the team in spreading the good word about all things Boulder Beer.  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Content creation and management of the company’s social media platforms, newsletters and website/webstore

  • Point of Sale (POS) and Merchandise management

  • Distributor POS order fulfillment and invoicing

  • Webstore order fulfillment and invoicing

  • Monthly inventory count and reconciliation

  • In-house graphic design and photography support

  • Event coordination and staffing

  • Coordinate in-kind donations

  • Provide sales support to sales team  – Assist in gathering POS, help with promotions, graphic design, online postings, crew drives

  • Pub marketing support – Web calendar, social media, stock merchandise for retail sales, promote events

  • Assist in online PR efforts

  • Familiarity with the brewing process and brewery tour

  • Contributing to the overall marketing plan and execution

Position requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal, written and group communication skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative in a variety of situations – A self-starter

  • Outgoing personality and ability to work well in a team setting

  • Savvy in social media platforms, primarily Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

  • Media Aware

  • Passion for craft beer

  • Available to work evening and weekend events when needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

  • Experience with Creative Suite preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Age 21+

  • Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the beer industry is preferred
